A Team That Cares

“Growing up in Ireland, my mother always had dinner on the table, my dad, no matter how busy he was at work would always make it to my games, although I had a simple, standard childhood– I know that not every child was afforded the same luxury. What I enjoy about volunteering and/or giving back is that you have the choice about how you would like to make a difference. It is easy to get inspired about a cause or charity that you care about and there is no right or wrong choice. As I have moved through life these causes have changed, as a teenager I volunteered with Big Brother Big Sister, I wanted to make a difference in children’s lives in my locality that weren’t afforded the same childhood that I was. Over the years my family has suffered through a lot, our sufferings unfortunately effect many households nowadays, cancer, suicide and most recently Alzheimer’s. Volunteering and giving back, allows me the opportunity to share my time and support to these causes. The fulfilling feeling of giving back and contributing to a cause close to my heart is unparalleled. One of the reasons I chose to work for Telvero was their policy of donating profits to charity each year, Blake and Lindsay’s charitable views truly aligned with mine and I hope that the Telvero team continues to make a difference for years to come.”
