T&D Superintendent

Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Superintendent

Lead field operations on assigned projects, ensuring safe, timely, and profitable completion. Plan, organize, and supervise construction work, including scheduling T&D activities with subcontractors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction of high voltage transmission lines, substations, and related infrastructure.

  • Manage all aspects of construction, including safety, productivity, materials, scheduling, and subcontractor performance.

  • Ensure compliance with project scope, contracts, and safety regulations.

  • Build and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.

  • Collaborate with project management on procedures, documentation, and standards.

  • Authorize requisitions and field change requests.

  • Conduct safety audits, document progress, and identify potential issues.

  • Manage subcontractors, track progress, and verify material quality.

  • Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

  • Oversee project staffing, material management, and tool control.

  • Supervise daily field activities, ensuring adherence to codes and specifications.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant experience, OR Associate's Degree and 9 years, OR High School Diploma/GED and 11 years.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and safety skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

  • Valid driver's license

 

Travel:

This position demands 100% travel, requiring frequent and extended travel throughout the United States.

Travel Expenses: Per diem will be provided to cover travel expenses during project assignments.

Project Duration: Project assignments will vary in duration, encompassing both long-term and short-term engagements.

Scheduled Time Off: Superintendents will be eligible for 2.5 days of paid time off every four weeks.

 

In most cases, a company vehicle will not be provided and the superintendent must provide their own vehicle, mileage will be reimbursed at federal rate.

 

Base Salary

$58/hr - $66/hr
